Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate the packaging machine monitoring overall performance, efficiency and quality. 


• Perform equipment set up, start-up and shut-down.


• Clean and sanitize lines during changeovers from one product to another. 


• Monitor machine performance to ensure product quality, consistency and conformity to company standards. 


• Sort materials and supplies for packaging or filling machine operation. 


• Replenish materials and supplies as needed. 


• Perform minor machine adjustments as necessary. 


• Notify the appropriate individuals if machine needs repair or maintenance. 


• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. 


• Other duties as assigned. 

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 


• 1+ years experience as a machine operator or related position. 

Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day. 


• Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
